This ghee is made from cream from organically raised cows with grass-fed pasture access, living as they are meant to live.
Ghee is a form of clarified butter where milk solids and water are removed through heating and sediment removal. These can be small particles that do not fully dissolve in the liquid. The process of making ghee involves melting and simmering the butter, allowing water to evaporate, and separating milk solids. This results in a clear and golden fat with a nutty flavor.
By making ghee, virtually all milk proteins and lactose are removed, making it suitable for those sensitive to regular butter. It still contains traces of milk protein, so individuals with allergies should avoid it. Ghee has a higher smoke point than regular butter (up to 250 °C), making it ideal for frying without producing harmful substances that can form at high temperatures. It is suitable for all types of cooking and can be used as an alternative to butter or oil in many international recipes. It withstands high temperatures.
