Närokällan ALA contains 300 mg of ALA (alpha-lipoic acid) and 40 mcg of chromium per capsule. Alpha-lipoic acid was originally discovered in the 1950s and has since been studied for its multifaceted benefits. It is found naturally in small amounts in foods such as red meat, spinach, broccoli and potatoes, but in much lower concentrations than found in our dietary supplement. In addition to alpha-lipoic acid, each dose of our dietary supplement also contains 40 mcg of chromium, an essential trace element that contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and contributes to maintaining normal blood sugar levels. Chromium contributes to maintaining normal blood sugar levels. Chromium contributes to normal metabolism of macronutrients.
